Katie Couric Interviews Sarah Palin |

Third presidential debate |
Pick of the Crop A selection of readers' comments on Sarah Palin Kaye writes: "I am a Human Resources professional and I would never hire Sarah Palin. She can't answer the tough questions. She falls short on the easy questions. She simply isn't qualified for the job of Vice President of the United States. In the Human Resources field, people who use their personality to persuade interviewers to hire them are called schmoozers. America, are we going to let Sarah Palin schmooze her way into the White House? John McCain manipulated us with his selection of Sarah Palin in his desparate attempt to win the presidency. That makes me nervous. Desparate people do desperate things. Thank you, Katie Couric for exposing Sarah Palin - the figurine."

Readers Speak Out About Sarah Palin Ruth writes: "How many of you liberals will be smiling when Obama introduces Sharia Law in America and you are forced to bow down before a God who is not American. At least with Palin we are free to worship Christ, the only God of all true and patriotic Americans." Phil writes: "I am tired of the attacks on Sarah Palin. She can do as well as the Idiots ln Washington who have done next to nothing on both sides except argue and finger point." Venice writes: "Katie, I remember when you first started this job you have now you were terrible and you didn't know a thing about your job either. You crewed up many times as I can recall. So I don't think you should throw stones, my dear .Wake up America the media is biasd; they would rather have Obama as their leader so he can bring down our country. If he's elected you could expect the nation to divide like never before. Why is it not clear to the people of America that Obama has brainwashed the media for sure and a lot of americans . His well known so called friends are scary enough for me not to vote for Obama. If he becomes president, you will all see his true colors ." Pat writes: "Each time I hear Sarah Palin interviewed, it reminds me of when beauty queen contestants have to answer certain questions. I think she would be more successful in that arena! I think it would be pathetic if the Republicans win. You think we are in trouble now." Norma writes: "How did she become governor of Alaska? My 15 year old son would make a better vice president. Bin Laden is laughing at what a dummy McCain picked to run with him." VK writes: "Watching Palin interviews are extremely painful. How does she not know she is way over her head? She should resign and really put "Country First." Alysa writes: "Are ya having fun slammin' Sarah? I'm actually not voting for her, but man, are you guys slick." Jerry writes: "Apparently a lot of people don't understand that John Insane McCain allowed the right wing nutcases to pick his running mate for him as part of his sucking up to them. Where Bush merely used religion to get votes, Palin is a true believer and would turn the country into a "Left Behind" miniseries!" Ron writes: "You forgot one important weakness under Biden's column. He has been in government for 26+ years and look at where we are!" Jersey Girl writes: "It's ironic how a less experienced female vice-presidential nominee gets more criticism than a less experienced male Presidential candidate. John McCain is way more experienced than Obama. That goes without saying. Why doesn't the press jump all over that? The fact that he is 72 years old does not faze me. His mother is 96! There once was a time when more mature citizens were treated with respect. He served our country well and has the scars to prove it. Focus on McCain's experience, people!" Jackie writes: "This lady wants to be president more than vice president ..... McCain better get a taste tester." Audrey writes: "We all know that McCain is not the youngest guy of them all. With that being said, do we really want Palin being his VP? I mean in this case I'd say she has a pretty good chance of becoming president if McCain is voted into office." Colin writes: "The reason we have long primary seasons and endless campaigns is to find the very best candidates -- to allow the cream to rise to the top. It is obvious to everyone except the most biased and blind supporter that Sarah Palin is not one of the finest politicians and brains in the country. In fact, she's probably one of the most stupid public figures in the nation ... and I am a Republican." June writes: "My god please voters wake up. Will you vote for someone who kills everything that lives and walks. If she has no feelings or love for wild animals how can you give your loved ones to her hands . If McCain dies she is the President of the United States. This country was built on foundations of love of life. Women are supposed to be loving, warm, compassionate humans yet this person is a con of all that. God help America if she gets elected." Shela writes: "Who is breast feeding Sarah's new baby? I don't think she can pump enough milk to KEEP for her special needs child while running around for days doing interviews and campaigning for McCain! She should be leaking by now! I breast-fed four children so I know what it means to breast feed. I think she has put kids and family on the back burner while running around loving the attention she is getting. As far as Palin's qualifications for being our next vice President, all anyone has to do is listen to Katies interview with her for a short time and right away anyone with a brain is thinking "Oh my God she is not qualified to be our vice president!" I feel sorry for her family."
