You should believe in yourself and your abilities. It doesn't matter what job you do, how much money you have in the bank, you should still carry yourself with confidence.
Be proud of who you are, not apologetic. Know what you want and know how to get it. Be ambitious. Have clearly defined goals. Be confident in romance, too. Women like a man who knows what he wants from a woman and knows how to get it. But don't be arrogant. Self-confidence does not mean you are deaf to criticism and blind to improvement. In fact, self-confidence is also about the ability to take criticism and defeat and move on without getting moody and bearing a grudge. Also, don't be afraid of saying you don't know. It's better not to know the answer than to pretend you do.
Sense of humor and the ability to laugh at yourself
Women love a man who can make them laugh. Laughter relaxes a woman. It makes her feel safe and at ease in your company.
It is better to laugh with than at. Guys often like to make fun of people, mocking what they see as stupidity and ineptitude. Women can see this as cruel and it'll turn them off.
A sense of style
Your style can be unique to you, but you must give the impression that you care about how you look, that you've spent time thinking about your clothes, shoes, and hair.
Some women find an anti-image appealing, but it's still a style, even if it might seem grungy and unkempt to others. The best punk or goth looks are not achieved in seconds by throwing on whatever is close to hand.

Good personal hygiene
You must be clean and smell good. Never smell of sweat when you're on a date with a woman, and keep a packet of gum or pack of mints in your pocket for those times when spicy food or coffee takes your breath down stinky street. Some guys (and many women) carry a toothbrush and small tube of toothpaste, which is fine so long as you don't become OCD about it and to rush to the restroom every five minutes to brush your teeth.
Finances in order
You don't need to be rich, though it will certainly help. You should not be over your head in debt, unable to pay bills. Loud warning bells will sound in your woman's ears if she has to lend you money or bail you out of trouble. A man who can look after himself can also look after a woman.
Ability to listen
Have you ever listened to a group of girls or women talking? They don't talk the same way, nor about the same stuff, as guys. Girls are into feelings, emotions, friendships, networks and relationships. Girls rely on each other, help and support each other.
Many women love the company of gay guys because they can talk to girls in an unthreatening with without the need to dominate the conversation and steer it in their own direction.
If you want a girl to like you, you must be able to listen and respond to her way of talking, explaining, and story-telling. Don't act as though you are better than her at everything you do. And tone down your natural male desire to be competitive and aggressive.
Be kind to your family and children
Women are impressed by men who are patient and caring toward children. This tells them you'll make a good father.
If you are the type of guy who gets irritated and impatient around kids, a woman's radar will tell her to be careful. If your girlfriend has kids, take an interest in them, enjoy their company, encourage them.

Be respectful and value teamwork
Women are team players with a keen sense of fair-play and an ability to reach consensus.
Women hate to be bulldozed by a man. Many men behave as though it is their right to choose which movie to watch, which restaurant to eat at, which holiday destinations to visit. Often, a woman will go along with these decisions in order to keep the peace. But this builds resentment.
Instead of stubbornly fighting for your way, back off and pay attention to what your woman wants to do.
Don't mock a woman's weaknesses
You might be convinced you are a better driver, have a better sense of direction, and are more practical than a woman, but that is no reason to make fun of all the things your girlfriend can't do.
Women are strong but also sensitive. It hurts when people close to them find fault and grind them down. You should aim to build your girlfriend's self-esteem and confidence, don't chip away at her. There are plenty of things that a woman can do much better than you can. Build her up, don't knock her down.

Don't be boring
Most men are the heroes of their own stories. They can go on endlessly about how fast, strong, witty, brilliant they are. They'll also see nothing wrong in rubbishing other people, especially rivals, who are seen as stupid, slow, inept, unreasonable, and ugly.
This can be extremely boring for a woman to listen to. If she is attracted to you, chances are she's already aware of your faults. She knows you're not the fastest, strongest, most brilliant, most witty, most successful man in the world, and yet she still likes you.
There's no need to bore her rigid with the types of story you tell your drinking buddies on a Friday night. Instead, enjoy the feeling of being one of a team or group; participate, give and take in people's company.
If you follow these steps and attract the love and attention of your dream woman, you will be rewarded by a loyalty you never imagined possible. It takes a complete and utter idiot to sabotage the love a woman gives you. Don't make that mistake.
