Tanja Poutiainen is Finland's number 1 female alpine skier and a veteran on the World Cup circuit.
She was junior world champion in slalom in 1997.
She won silver medal in giant slalom at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
Poutiainen was voted Finnish Sportswoman of the Year in 2004, '05, and '06.
